“Mecca in silver” is a very interesting and useful experience for our mint”, said Pavel Shin, Head of the Marketing Department. “It was an excellent chance to demonstrate our technical abilities. And though the number of the stamps is not great – 3 pieces of each kind – the customers are planning to exhibit “Mecca in silver” in various cities not only of Russia, but also of the world”.
“WT” Company had formed the idea of “Mecca in silver” for three years. It is not the first experience of co-operation between our companies. A few years ago the Moscow Mint produced “The Gold Koran” for the company – copies of pages of the holy scripture of gold and silver exhibited in various museums of the world.
All the stamps are produced using the thin-leaf technology applied actively in the production of the Moscow Mint in recent years.
